Powerful

I read this today. It's from Rick Warren. It's amazing how the right words seem to come at the right times....I thought I'd share.

God didn't put me on earth just to fulfill a to-do list. He's more interested in what I am than what I do. That's why we're called human beings, not human doings.
Happy moments, PRAISE GOD.
Difficult moments, SEEK GOD.
Quiet moments, WORSHIP GOD.
Painful moments, TRUST GOD.
Every moment, THANK GOD..

Several New Posts!!!

Make-up....Cambria has been "eye"ing my shadow for a little while and the stinker finally got it! She put it on her eyes. Had to capture it because of her obsession with eye make-up. Remember the mascara incident??

This one is just too funny...she's in the stage where she loves to make faces...not sure what this was about...
This cute little outfit was one of several sent by my sister...thanks Aunt Valerie!!!

Best purchase to date...

This bike trailer is AWESOME...it's so safe and if you fall off your bike...it stays upright! Cambria loves it so much. She even took a nap in it today. We also like that we can bike down to the grocery story and get a few items because there's a compartment in the "trunk". She starts shrieking and saying "Yay, bikes" when we get it out followed by tons of kisses.

Playground

This was the biggest slide at the playground...so our fearless child decided she needed to play on it! She kept saying "Yay" and "Good job"! She absolutely loved it and it was painful to have her leave.

Pit Stop

Todd and Cambria checking out the jukebox....Cambria is trying to climb on it...we call her our little mountain goat!

After our long bike ride this morning....10 miles turned into 16.7...we were STARVING...so we made a pit stop at Skeeters. Love this place!

More San Antonio Pictures

Cambria got Chicken Dance Elmo from one of Grandmother's friends...she loves it because she loves Elmo and anything bird related right now....she's not the only one who likes Elmo, though...

Todd and Cambria at one of our favorites....Alamo Cafe....

Here's a few pictures I meant to add previously. The fifth picture is one of my favorites! The little rocker was Todd's when he was little. Cambria loves it and gravitates to it every time we go to Todd's parents house. She looks so cute in it and it's wonderful to see her in a family heirloom! The weird smile in the sixth picture is how she smiles sometimes when we ask her to "show us your teeth". We are working on this....

Bluebonnets...a Texas Tradition

We headed down to San Antonio for the day Saturday and saw these beautiful bluebonnets everywhere!!! Unfortunately, Cambria was exhausted and not really wanting these pictures...but I wanted the memory so we just did a few of her!

Wildflower Fun!

These were taken in the most beautiful purple flowers we've ever seen! I have no idea what they are but I wanted to get Cambria in them and take her picture!! Love purple!!

Last week in pictures...

This is Cambria in her Easter outfit...so cute! Will have more of her in it to follow!
This is Cambria in her "eyes". She loves sunglasses and so we got her a few...she LOVES them!
Friday Facepaint! The cute afternoon teachers painted all the kids faces on Friday...I was quite shocked that my oh so clean and finicky child would want to just observe...WRONG...she was all about it! Here she is saying "cheese"....with cheese on her face!

This is Cambria showing her teeth...she loves to do this for pictures now.

Easter Egg Hunt

Cambria had an Easter Egg Hunt at school on Wednesday and her teachers were telling me how she was so excited that she peaked in to see what they were doing when they were hiding eggs. She started screaming "ball!" So, I thought I'd take her down to the park Thursday (since I was off) and we could do another Egg Hunt and play on the swings/slide, too. She LOVED it!! She was running around gathering them up and then she would sit at the end of the slide and throw them for herself! It was a fun experience so we will do it again Sunday for her with daddy.
